A New Neighborhood That's Actually Human

Located in the heart of South Redding, California in a valley along the eastern edges of the Trinity Alps, Shiloh Park is a 21-home pocket community for families of all sizes. This neighborhood was created with the aim to reintroduce human connections at the center of its design and culture. Whether it's the large front porches, common house for periodic shared dinners and gatherings, the community pool for hot summer days, or small agriculture and trails for enjoying the land, Shiloh Park is an ideal place to live among friends, raise your children, or retire in place.

Designed and Developed by Joshua Johnson, Architecture by Ryan Russell, and Site Planning and Engineering by Sharrah Dunlap Sawyer.

Modern Farmhouse Home Styles

Our goal was to blend the timelessness of the historic farmhouse and front porch with the contemporary joys of clean edges, thoughtful gathering spaces, and generous light. Our homes are a place to retreat in privacy without forgetting their critical connection to the rest of the community.

More than just a subdivision

We believe intentionally designed neighborhoods can create more vibrant, connected communities. It is our dream to build a place where neighbors are known and to make that normal again.

Enjoy the land

Small ORCHARD, gardens, and trails

Our site plan has carved out roughly 1.1 acres in a private easement for community planting, a possible small orchard, vegetable gardens, and more. There are nearly 2 acres of additional shared commons including a half mile trails around the outer edge of the neighborhood.

Imagine and play

Natural playground for children

We are intentionally designing play at the center of Shiloh Park’s identity for children and adults alike. We don’t believe it’s childish to play. To us, adults are just bigger kids who enjoy rest, relaxation, and play. That's why play will be core to our community culture.

Gather in the commons

Community pool & Gathering spaces

Parties in the park, impromptu swimming meet-ups, playdates, and weekend gardening are just a few of the ways Shiloh Park could become more than just a bedroom for your family.

Connect with friends

local neighbors who are deeply invested

Shiloh Park really exists because 7 families decided they wanted a neighborhood that was more human and inter-connected. They invested money and time in the project and also plan to be the first to move in late this year. It's a big reason Shiloh Park is a special place and a beautiful example of how future communities can be inspired.
